I just got back from three days down near Cotulla. Seen some dang nice bucks out there, got some pics of a few that came close to the stand. This gentleman is 47 years old and shot his first deer, a 19 3/4" wide 8 point that scored 135... he was a "cull". Shocked  There was a few hogs down there too... they sure worked on this one field. Grin

Great pictures Mike!

Not much is finer than a heavy, wide, and tall 8 pointer in my book! Sept for that boar you are talking about. Do you think he had some good teeth on him?    Cheesy

Jason, if would have done that their salesman that invites me out every year would have lost his job... then he would probably shoot me. Shocked Hell, I just enjoy going and seeing that caliber of deer. Always the chance to shoot a cull, a doe and sometimes exotics... i've been hunting with them about 10 years now.

From what I understand (from my neighbor that has a lease near Cotulla) there are plenty of hogs down there.
