I am looking for a serious cowdog one that will work and bay cattle I am located in Laffayette . Willing to travel to see the dog work do not care the breed as long as it does not have any hog in it . I work ranches that have hogs on it but I want solid cowdog.

How old are you wanting, finished or started, male or female? I have a very good friend that raises good cowdogs and can get you in touch with him, but need to know what you're looking for first to make sure he has something that fits your needs.

I am looking for something that knows what a cow is and will stay with them I ride a lot of marsh bottoms and some rough terrain in Texas

Since you live in Lafayette, why don't you try calling Kenny Reeves. He is in Reeves, LA close to Lake Charles. He has cowdogs. His number is listed in Directory Assistance.
