well guys the last few trips out have been dry runs but yesterday the chase was on we went to a place that is 30000 acres and we traveled for miles on the dirt roads we finally struck one and then it was over there must have been 50 piglets the dogs were catching em and moving on we ran the sow over 6 miles and lost it again the fourwheeler had a flat and and we were doing everything possiable to keep air in the tire as we sat on the side of the dirt road another group of piglets ran in front of us about 50 yards we let a few pups chase em then the sow came out then another nice hog came out it was as if they were laffing at us not one dog could pick em up exept ol rusty we had been tracking that dog for hours and was about to give up when he came out and ran them again about two hours latter we found him baying on the sow and an hour long wait just to get the bull dogs there because they were still on the fourwheeler with a flat....what a day it was it started out bad but had a good ending result. stuck the hog and headed for the trucks i cant wait to go back but i will most likley be more prepared for a long day on a four wheeler my A$$ still hurts lol.....I hope my spell of dry runs are over

I don't care who you are, how long you have been hunting, or what kind of dogs you have EVERYBODY has dry spells. Anyone who says they don't have dry runs is trying to sell you something. Seems like just when you think you have your stuff working great you will hit a dry run that makes you appreciate why we call it hunting and not catching. I'm glad to hear your dry spell is over, it sure is a lot more fun when you have something to show for that sore @ss!
