I've read about guys using them to den coons in old abandoned houses and barns.

Checkout http://www.predatormastersforums.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1503670&page=1

search VARGY on this site.  He runs Pattys for coons and kills A LOT of them.

Bryant, I'll be back in town tonight and home for a couple of weeks. Feel like doing some terrier work of some sort?

Really? You can't dig grinners, fox, or coons? What part of PA are you in? I work for a month at a time every month up in Bradford and the surrounding counties.

No grinners, coons, or fox.  But sometimes we get a groundhog with a ringtail or one that plays dead. Smiley

I am in Western PA near the Ohio line. North of Pittsburgh.

Wow I had no idea. Is there some sort of denning rule?

Sometimes I have jobs as far south as the Washington PA area.

The only animal you can disturb in there den is the groundhog, in "cultivated" fields.

Yeah but coons and fox don't dig their own dens...so you are technically disturbing them in some other critter's dens...

Wow that's a load of hooey.
