Trap Door Location

Does any one know if changing the location of the door, or changing the type of door on trap, either a portable box type of fixed pen type, makes any difference on appearance or success when trapping trap smart pigs?
I have a pen type trap with a drop door on it and wonder if changing the location and type of door on this trap would make any difference on fooling the pigs?

i have had luck changing the door to a larger size opening when the trap stops producing.
