I finally got the nerve to sit down and tell the news.  My heart wasn't in it.

Last Wednesday morning, we lost old Cadllac.  His heart that made him so special, was what took him from us.

The next day I found out that Poker, has a fast working cancer and it is just a matter of time.

For those of you that has a special dog, don't forget to thank god for your gift and appreciate them while they are here.

Sorry for your loss, when we lose those special dogs it leaves a really big hole and it takes a while to get over that. Just shows how much they ment to you and you to them.

Renee, I am so sorry for you. They leave a hole in your heart when you lose them. No matter how many other dogs you have, each one is special in their own way and can never be replaced. The collars that are on the handles of my gear bag are from dogs that I have owned that have passed on but will never be forgotten. When I look at them instead of being sad I try to remember how blessed I have been to have had several once in a lifetime dogs share their lives with me. Both Cadilac and Poker are once in a lifetime dogs and will live on in a bunch of our minds. The memories that we have of them will always be treasured.  Kelley
