We killed this hog 3-30-2013 about 10 am in Southeast Ohio. He was a fighter and it was about a 300 yard race. He was bayed up in a tree that had fell over. Didnt have a catch dog so we took him down with some 12 gauge slugs to the head.

Here we dont have a typical hunt. We dont use a catch dog. Anything under 200 lb the plotts can catch and the hogs is an easy grab. That was our biggest hog we killed.  We struck on a group and dogs spilt. My brownie dog is a rough bay dog and had him bayed and we shot him in the face once then tried to grab him but he was going crazy so I shot him behind the ear. We have a lot of hills here and its too much of a extra chore to drag a bulldog.
