Ok, most likely this topic will stick towards the top due to all my dumb questions but im hoping to get knowledge from it. As I read things in forums I may come back here and ask what people meant in the quotes. Any way Here goes, Thanks for your response!!!!!!
When people talk about dogs and "Bay" what does the bay mean?
Also what is the cycle for hunting with the dogs as far as "lead dog", stop dog, Catch dog and so on. What are there jobs.

Dont worry you will learn the terms heres some. Bay- is when the dogs have a hog stopped and are barking at the hog. Strike/lead dog- is your best dog and is usually the one to find the hog and strike on the hog first or bark saying he found it. Catch dog- the catchdog is the bulldog or dogo or whatever you want to use that can hold a hog by the ear and not get thrown off so you can stab it or throw it on the ground and tie it. Stop dog- a stop dog or what i call my catchy dogs are the dogs that will get a holt of a hog and make the hog stop and fight so the dogs can bay him for you the get there with the catchdog. If you need anything just post it im sure we will all reply good luck! Michael Conatser

Yes, even bigger. I've seen some old breeder boars with cutters that would scare you.
