Set up first mock hunt for my pup Sunday. Took hobbled littleporker rolled him around in a low wet spot then drug him off about 250yd last 50-60 in the wood. Drop the tail gate let my pup out he make 5 laps around the truck had to let some of the puppy out! Took him to the low spot where I rolled the porker, he made numerous passes back forth 50- 100yds across the trail before he got to the wood. Then he got fairly tight on the trail and found the tied out porker. Proublly 25-30 min. From the time I showed him the low spot till the littleporker started sqeelin. I was pleased with it for his first and him being 6 months old my first yeller dog and man I like him!!

Sounds good. I started two of my dogs on hogs using a very similar technique, both have turned out to be pretty good dogs. Keep up the good work

That is awesome, nothing like watching young dogs work and when they finally put it all together is a great feeling
