Ben, I'll let you tell this story... I posted the picture for Don.. Sure appreciate  you guys and the help..

By the way, on the way to the vet clinic, we got a call. They were taking Jim Bob to the emergency room with Chest pains, Dizzy, shortness of breath and some arm pain.  Long story short they are keeping him and running some more test this afternoon and in the am. They are not telling us much. When Bob and I left he was resting well, settled down, didnt apear to be in any distress. I'll let ya know.

Oh and Ben C. Kept Bear.. said it was a nasty cut and got about 3 or 4 i nches of muscle, but didnt get into the stomach cavity. Wanted to put a tube in him and pump some antibotics into him.

Thanks for the heads up Skoal, Hope Jim Bob comes out ok. That sucks about Bear, I knew it was a bad cut in a bad spot to top it off.
We got to Dons house and noticed that my Layla pup was cut pretty good up under her throat and chest but its just a skin rip, no mussle or anything like that, gave her a shot of anti's and will stop at Bigo's to get a stapler pretty soon.

 Well here's the storie,
We let the dogs out about 7:30 this morning, Bear and Sarah(Bigo & Skoals dogs) did their useall and left all the other dogs in the dust looking for some sign. We waited around for about an hour and decided to move to where we thought we heard a bark. We left Dons Redbone and my lil Layla pup at the spot we let out and headed that way. We got over to where the bark was and couldnt hear anything. Well Dons redbone and my pup was coming our way, working a bottom not too far from us and we heard the redbone open up. He opened up a few times and pretty soon we heard more than just him, Bear and Sarah met up and had a good bay going. Me and Don headed for them with JW, Bigo's and Skoals CD. We get to the bay and couldnt see anything do to it was so thick with vines and briars, so I sent in Ole JW. JW catches and all the other dogs latch on too. The fight was on, It took me a min to get to the dogs that were maybe 15 feet from me, and there he was, a boar that would go 300lbs easy. I pretty much had to crawl to this hog, I stick him one good time and the hog takes all the dogs another 10 feet. I back out and go around to a different place and had Don make sure I didnt fall back off this log that was between me and the hog. I jumped down off the log right next to the hog and stick him again. I get the hog on his side and stuck him again. Then donald sticks him too , Finally the old hog dies. But the Boar did his damage, CD JW's throat was pretty much gone and he passed 5 mins after the hog died, Bear got cut pretty bad under his stomach, The redbone had 3 good poke under his throat and a good rip on his shoulder, Dee Bigos and skoals pup pretty much got her ear ripped off, My layla pup got her chest and throat ripped pretty good. We had 7 dogs, 1 died and 4 got cut up. Im glad that ole boar is dead. RIP JW, you were a hell of a CD.

Jim Bob Owens is my son. The blood test and EKG were good but his blood pressure was high. They are going to run some more test in the morning. WE should know more then.
