Is it possible to stop a 5 yr old dog from climbing out of a pen? This gyp has been doin this ever since my buddy has had her.  He never broke her from doin it, and now I got her.  I put her in the pen today and she started lookin up automatically.  My pens are 75" tall but she started to climb up the wall like a cat squirrel while I was inside. If there is no quick and easy solutions, I am just going to put a top on the side of the pen that she is in, in the morning when I get off work..

Hot wire. Grin
X2

Run it high so they will have a paw on the metal fence and will hit their nose.

HWK my Dualy dog will not stay in a pen either. I keep him on a chain. I put tops on my pens with only 6" gap at top and he still got out. What eveer you do don't chain her in the pen. Have seen dogs hang themselves like that.

X2 Those gallagher's are bad ace! I seen a 200lb man get hit in the thigh by one of these and it threw him back about 5 feet! LOL! I laughed cause everyone was told 2min before this happened that the fence was hot! This should take care of your problem! Grin

Had a Rottweiler that kept breaking the fence. He only touched it once.

Shouldve seen her face this morning after I finished the wire on top, I put her back in it and she walked to the back and looked up at the top.  It was like I told her she wasnt never goin hog huntin again, she looked so depressed she just layed down and aint tried to even jump up on the fence.  I really do believe they know what their doin.......
