I figured I would give this a try because you all had some good information on the oil field jobs post.  I graduated from Texas State University in December and have been taking classes to get my Certified Safety and Heatlh Official in Oil + Gas and Petrochemical.  I completed an internship with Hilcorp Energy Company in Houston last fall with their Environmental Health and Safety department.  I would like to keep pursuing the safety route, however, I am open to almost anything at this point.  I do not know if anyone on here deals with safety but I am a hardworking and dependable person.  I have tried many websites and applied, but most places are looking for more experienced workers.  I am hoping some one can help me by referral or if you might know of some entry level jobs out there.  I greatly appreciate any help that is given.  Please email, pm, or call.

Thanks,

Jace Braden

Are you looking for work in the Houston area?

If so, I have some contacts in the safety business in the Houston area, maybe they are hiring or can point you in the right direction of someone who is hiring.

I will pm you the contact info.

I'm the VP of Sales for a risk management (as is pertains to workplace safety) consulting firm in Houston.  I don't know if we are hiring but if things keep improving like they are, we are going to need some help soon.  We always look to hire young guys straight out of school and show them the ropes.  Are you open to travel?  My consultants typically travel 4 out of 5 days a week as we have clients in 46 states.

I will also ask some of my local clients if they are looking to beef up their RM/Safety Depts.

I'm a TX State grad as well.   Afro
