Robert and I were lucky enough to go out West Texas and meet with Dexter and Lynne of Skip a Rope Catahoulas. We were looking through his posts on his newest litters and one caught my eye and I had to break and run for it. We have been looking for a female that we will breed with Apache and Dexter had one. Of course it will be a year before they will be officially wedded but we are looking forward to the outcome of this union. Robert and I had the pleasure of getting to see all their dogs and meet Apache's parents. I thought Apache was big, but I think he still has some growing to go, his parents are way bigger than him. If everyone will remember Apache was the puppy that Dexter Blevins had donated to T.D.H.A. for a membership drive and Robert and I were the lucky one's to win him. We have been training him for the bay pens and he is coming along very well. We take him to T.N.T. baying and have won second and third place in the puppy baying with his partner Live-wire, which was a stray that showed up at a friends house. I am hoping that next baying Apache will come out on top.
It was a great pleasure to meet Dexter and Lynne and see both beautiful litters that they have up for grabs. IF anyone is looking for a great pup they should give them a call. I hope sometime in the future Robert and I can go back out there to visit longer with them. They are really some great people to visit with.
Attached you will see a picture of our newest pup to our litter, Confetti's Southern Belle being held by my granddaughter Addyson and the second picture is Apache waiting for the wedding....
