yep,also you can get sulmet at most feed stores kills coccida,infact we use sulmet in our pups water on every litter as a prevenative,pups will start drinking water at 4 weeks we put 1 cap full per gallon...if you suspect your pup has coccidia give sulmet 1 cc mixed wih 1 cc water 3 days straight then go to the drinking water dose

I am not a vet but I have seen it many times....someone gets a new puppy, gives it a shot and within a few hours it is showing signs of parvo.  I personally think it speeds it up if you already have it in the ground or the puppy has already been exposed to it. 

Remember the momma's anti-bodies carry them until they are 16 weeks old, to me if you vaccinate them before they are 16 weeks it is a waste of money.  We wait until approx 1-2 weeks before our pups turn 16 weeks to vaccinate them and then follow up with a booster 3 weeks later. 

Our pups are quarntined for 20 weeks to concrete pens to keep even the slightest chances down and we havent had any problems for 2  or 3 years now....if we get a puppy from someone else it is kept  away from all other puppies for a minimum of 2 weeks to be sure everything is OK.  I am probably over kill but it is a terrible virus and I have never had any luck with vaccines alone.

They do sell some kennel scrub (its blue) that is supposed to kill parvo but we have always used bleach.
