I broke the metal long range antenna, my question is can I buy just the metal antenna?  I also heard you can buy a longer ruber antenna that works well. Got any web pages on where to buy?

no, i called garmin, and they said you will have to buy a whole new antenna with the handle, they dont sell the antenna seperate.  Angry   I broke the tip off of mine, but it still works ok.

Look on ebay, there was a longer metal antenna that goes directly on the garmin unit.  Wink

Here's the link.  http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/index.php?topic=16465.msg142211#msg142211

He had a roof mount made, and he had a slightly longer than stock made to direct mount to the handheld.  They both work great and were fairly inexpensive.
