Those are some awesome looking deer, is this a low fence place or a high fence place?  Either way they are impressive in my book.

gettin a buck that big with a bow will be an awesome rush.  Good luck man, I hope to see another picture of one of those on the ground in a couple of months.

Hey, I noticed that those pics seem to have been taken with a traditional flash. Sorry if this is a regular question from new guys but I was wondering how that works out for you. We have always gone with an IR flash on our cameras thinking that the flash would spook the deer.

Nick the flash seems to work alright , I bet the IR flash would probably work better . There are a few bucks that we have seen that we cant get pics of probably for that reason.

The traditional flash has always worked good for us as well but then again if it were the IR flash would we be seeing different older smarter bucks?  It's difficult to say.  But at our place i am there so much on 850 acres that i pretty much have seen all the bucks and just about all of them are on the camera.  I can say this though... there is an old boar that we got on and took his ears off, so you know its him, and have gotten two pics of him... but he only stays around for one flash of the camera and there is corn out in front of the camera.
