So its only 1:00am, you have only been hunting a couple hours, its humid and soaking wet, spider webs are EVERYWHERE and you have around 485lbs of pork dead and ready for processing, what to do? Keep hunting or get home and get the meat taken care of for some very thankful people? Well I decided to come home so dont believe any of the other BS you might here!
Paul and Phillip again invited me out to hunt with their wives and a friend named Richard. We all met up and dropped the dogs out and it didnt take long for them (their dogs) to start getting busy. I took my pups out and I was gaining frustration quickly. The wind was perfect for the setup we were hunting. We roaded a couple of the dogs downwind through a corn field and we hear one open up bayed. The dogs soon joined and off we went. We cut the catchdogs loose at around 300yds. After a busted bay we ended up with one dead shoat. All the squeeling from the shoat screwed everything up. Im sure they had a good group bayed but was busted.
The dogs rolled out and it didnt take long before we were on our way again to the 2nd bay. The wives were itching to get in some action so we took our time and made sure we had video camera, cameras etc. The dogs had caught a nice sow in a stock tank. Phillip got up to his neck in mud and wrestled it all by himself (is that better Phillip?). Laurie stuck the pig and we had a very healthy dead sow.
We caught our breath and loaded up the pig and headed back towards the crops. We cut the 4 wheelers off and hear another bay. We get there and have 2 caught hogs. I split and went to the further one. Luckily it was a smaller one and dispatched it myself. The girls had went to the closer bay and Cheryl had stuck and nice fat sow. We cleaned them up and had a nice field biology class.
We load everything up and head towards the trucks. We take some pictures and load the pigs into coolers. They decided to go hit another wheat field, end up catching 2 more boars. I decide to head to the house to tend to all this pork in the back of my truck.
After a frustrating start (for me) it ended up being one of the most successful and memorable hunts I have been on.

Lauries pig again. Cheryl could not keep her hands to herself!
