Started off this morning at 6 with tacos that Ty made and Lone Star Lite, then got to the woods and road around for two hours looking at 200 plus deer and alot of good bucks. Finally we were going out of the gate and we seen a couple of hogs about 1000yrds down the rideofway. Of corse we had to go check them out. We rode down and turned loose Rookie, Jake, Tracker & little Aley(6mon old pup of Ty's) and didnt take Rookie long and had them bayed up about 500yrds away. I took off on the wheeler and was watching the Garmin till we got within 100yrds and took off. I ran in after and legged him and Dawson(my boy) just got him a new knife from Rocky's Feed Store and had to get it bloody, so way to go Dawson! Good hunt with good kids and good friends! Can't beat it.   |
