Picked up a new dog from a friend the other day. He got her from Louisiana when she was less than a year old. She had won a couple puppy bayings there. They got her and a sister and a brother at the same time. They both were naturally bobtailed but she wasn't. He was told she was mountian Cur. I have hunted with her several times. She is a long range dog in my book staying out 800-1000 yards and has alot of bottom. I took her out the other day and she found and bayed up a small boar. She is pretty ruff but not as bad as the rest of my dogs. She will fit in real good with the rest though.  |
