I have had this gyp for 5 to 6 months but she is just not working out for me. She does not fit our style of hunting, period. When I got her she had been trained to wind off of a 4-wheeler or truck. She has found her own hogs and will go to the bay every time. With me, she has only found 1 hog because the other dogs are usually hunting ahead of her. Again, she has still gone to every bay. I actually prefer long-range dogs and like to see the dogs hunt out from us. She is a good dog but instead of me teaching her to get off the vehicle and hunt further out, she is training my pups to stay close by. She will do well with someone that hunts them off of a truck or 4-wheeler. She is about 14 months. I paid $75, would like to get that back or trade for a catchdog prospect.
