I have a small pit female that I need to get rid of. She was a stray and I have used her to hunt with but the first two times she went to catch she nearly got killed. It was my fault for not starting her on something small but she will bay a good sized hog. She is not a catch dog. She has caught a 150 lb. pig by herself but let go before I got there. I have run her loose and she stays busy. She is never just walking along with you, she will be up to a couple hundred yards from you hunting her butt off. She has found her own pig before. She catches good with another dog. I don't hunt rough dogs or I would keep her. I think she would work for someone who hunts short range, rough dogs. She is athletic and will flat GIT to a bay. She has great stamina for a pit, will keep up with my curs all night. No aggression at all except over food, and then its just growling. Would make a great pet too, very sweet, laid back dog. Might have been a house dog before I got her, if I leave the door open she will come in and lay down. Easy to teach, best mannered dog I have. Will hate to see her go, she's my little buddy, just not very useful for my style of hunting. I'd let her go for a sack or two of diamond hi energy. Pm me or text or call 903-348-2180.
