I've never had problems with his under bite it doesn't affect the way he catches or holds. He just latches on to the ear and doesn't let go

I'm sure it could be I know they like to use them in Australia. Main thing is you just have to put him on a hog and see how he acts. I know alot of people who use pits and american bulldogs and dogos(I own 2 myself), and not all of them catch hogs. Even though a dog was bred for a certain purpose or a certain way doesn't guarantee that he is going to do it. I've seen a pit bull that was put on a 40 pound pig and everyone thought that he was the greatest catch dog ever. But what catch dog doesn't look good on a 40 pound pig? Anyway they finally put that pit in with a 213 pound boar and that dog took one good hit from that boar and he tucked tail and run, jumped out of the pen, and run into the dog box and was crying. I have also seen the opposite, where they hit the boar and never let go. But your dog should have some potential to him. It sounds like a good mix. Just try em out and you'll know for sure.
