I got bluetick in my bmc, and in my mt. curs, no more than an 1/8th in each, same grandad. They will let a locator bark sometimes when they hit a hot track and then nothing else until they are looking at him. Those blueticks have darn good noses on them! I also got my male jagd back, or should say I have a trap out to catch him right now. My buddy that wanted to try him let him run loose out in the country and he will not be caught by hand. Cant wait to get a handle on him and get him in the woods. Anyway, great hog and are you going to mount him?

Joey, Naw I am not going to mount him. I am just gonna bleach the skull.
Some of those Jagds can be wild as hell if they are not handled a lot early on. That is the main reason I am using the line I am because they handle like a cur. Longshot

Very nice hog longshot. Joey, I helped catch a Cur gyp once that was wild as all get out. The only way we ever caught her was once she came in heat turned a male dog loose and after they got hung up she could'nt get away. But she was not very happy . Waylon

Waylon Thats Nothing! My best strike dog, AJ, was so skittish of me and being in the city,( Guy I got him from lives along way from anything), I used to take a big bobcat trap with me everytime that I went hunting. When we got through we would just set the trap with some canned food and go get lunch or if we were planning to hunt their the next day we would just leave a shirt and some food. That went on for three months until I got him lined out. Now, anybody who hunts with him can catch him. Which is the way I want it. Anyway, the trap isnt working yet on the jagd and I have it camoflauged with hay bales. I will probaly end up having to use a dog in heat to catch this little monster. Longshot, I still got a couple Goliaths and one 75lb bulldog that looks 110lb. Ive been using him in Protection and obedience mostly, but it is getting cool again and he is going to let my pit have a lot of the winter off. I agree with you on the euro mount, I just dont think that I am to a point where I want a life like wild boar hanging in the house. My ex told me it would never happen and I am sure the next one will probaly say the same! lol Once again nice boar and I will let you know how things are going with that jagd. His grandmother is Scott Alls Jewel or Girlfriend, on the dam side, and the sire is Richard Jones Wasaubi dog.
