Sat mornin bout 11 met up with landowner, he drove us around showed us (me and my bro-n-law) boundaries of land, got back to truck bout 12, had an overcast so we drove down to a creek and unloaded. Got all 3 baydogs garmind' up, and let mattie run with the pack, shes the blood hound Im running in the dog ad, anyhow our CD "Tri-pod" wont walk right with a vest so we put a Cut collar on him and started down the creek. Got about 400 yds from the truck, our LR dog "PUP" bayed up showing 194 on the Garmin, followed by "Hammer" and my dog "Dye". Got down to where they were and turned Tri-pod loose, quick catch on Hog1, got the dogs broke loose, looked down and Pup, dye and hammer are no where to be found, pup 300yds back toward truck with dye and hammer trailing, get there and its a pretty nice barr hog just standing his ground and fighting. Seen Tri-pod get tossed , then we knew we had a good one, CD got another hold so we went in flipped him and ended his plans for the mornin ..."ROOTER RIDDERS" struck again!! Looked over and seen Tri-pod, stomach hangin out, blood pouring, uh oh...not good...calmed the dogs down, got the pigs head for proof and headed back to get the truck to pick up the crew, not bad for a little under an hours worth of huntin'....Tri pod is on the long road to recovery...got him home...pumped him with neosporin and superglued his cuts...left him some draining room....GOOD LUCK Tri-pod and couldnt have done it without a great crew of dogs!.....Rooter Ridders will soon strike again!!
