1/2 catahoula, 1/2 Kemmer Mt. Cur -1 year old male. Black & tan colored, bob tailed. Very well started. Has found his own hogs and is totally silent on the track so far. Lots of energy. Out of 2 great strike dogs. Was pick of the litter. - $300.

2 year old Greyhound gyp- will bay and catch. Loves to go in the woods but lays down when she get tired after about 2 hours of running so i dont take her anymore. Would make a GREAT brood gyp because she has the "want to" and PLENTY of speed! If any other Hog dog can out-run her in a sprint I will give you your money back! ha she is also silent on the track. I have a pic somewhere of her caught on a 245 Lb boar hogs ear.  Brindle in color and very well behaved. Both dogs have been on plenty of BIG hogs. $250

I am in Huntsville, Tx (936)661-3267 - It wont let me upload pics. Call me and I can email pics. Thank you very much.

How does the bob-tailed dog hunt as far as range? Does he hunt well by himself or better with other dogs? Thanks.

He is medium range as of now and still hunts better with other strike dogs. With a little more experience he should be lead-dog material. The last hog he found was a 220 lb boar hog. He stayed bayed for an hour and a half untill i got there with a bulldog.(I was out of town when my mom called and said he was bayed!!)  He had already gotten cut down every leg when I got there but was still bayin. I turned the buldog loose and they both caught him. He is very athletic and WELL bred. I can show his dad's papers (one of the best strike dogs around) and pics  of his mom  (flashy catahoula strike dog). Thanks for your reply.
