This is the new guy in my in-laws pasture and fortunatley for me, none of their kids have really taken a shine to him! hes just a guard donkey but somehow me and this shaggy ugly beast are kindred spirits.  i dont like horses much and have always wanted a mule but since hes here and hes ugly, hes mine  im definetly a donkey training greenhorn to say the least but im about as stubborn as he is and i got my mind set on riding him through the woods by october.  WELL, there he is! now that i put him on ETHD i'll have a whole forum of acountabilty partners |

well ive got some very knowledgable men and women on speed dial!! the info ive gooten so far sounds like its gonna be a challenge, but it aint no hill for a climber. im gonna be starting some puppies this year and teaching myself some new skills so im pretty syked tell cattle if i get to stove up, he can break em for me  |

I ain't saying you can't or won't do it. I am just saying it will be funny to watch. I'll just put my boy to cleaning stalls then dot back and enjoy the show. I bet Chance could tell you how.

donkeys anit to bad to ride kinda stiff legged though an they dnt buck to bad, but the ones i tryed riding wouldnt ever get to goin through water or up hills or over stuff to good like a horse will , i trdaded them for a lil paint shetland pony , he will go all over the place can tie dogs to him an all hes a tough lil dude but bucks like a son of a gun when you first get on him lol , soon as my knee gets back right i will get some pictures of me rideing him hunting  good luck with the donkey |
