The whitedeer preserve has a huge amount of the top genetics in the plott hound breed however he has over 70 dogs and his dogs are no longer evaluated for their worthiness to breed before breeding them. At one time he had over 200 puppies on the ground... do what you want with this information....
And to make it clear I got one of my dogs (a weems pup) directly from him back when he had maybe 12 dogs since then he has ballooned to over 70 and is in it for the $$$

Someone trying to turn a profit on dogs? Huh?

Get the heck out of here.  Wink

Try www.ukcdogs.com in the plott section. It might help you.

Ive had some of the old blood before for running bears and like the earlier post I wouldnt have any of them now. If I was going to plotts for hogs Id try some PROVEN Crockett blood.

X 2      one of the most famous crosses was weems butch and jill,  was made many times and threw some of the best plotts.   the dogs i have now, have weems and crocket both,  very game minded, LOTS of bottom, start early,  good noses, and gritty. oh yeah, and real mouthy on track.  Smiley

I have some pups on the ground out of a weems bred female that have some butch and jill in thier pedigree, this cross has produced quick starting pups and lead dogs in bear packs. Definetely a cross worth getting. The crocket blood has  a huge dose of bulldog blood and some of the pups dont have the nose you would expect out of a hound.

If you can find it.You cant go wrong with dogs heavy bred around the ButchxJill cross.A heavy Weems bred dog is hard to beat on anything.I am pretty sure Clue Anderson uses Weems bred dogs on hogs. And he is pretty well known for his Blackmouth curs.If you can track him down he would know alot more than me about Weems stuff.

Yea we went and seen Clue back in December and his plotts are some damn fine looking dogs. According to Bigo and Skoal as much as they hate to admit it says they are some fine hog dogs too.

I know a few guys who use the weems plotts and these dogs were gritty. These dogs didn't look to be very fast.
