A buddy of mine just called and told me about this deal suposidly put on by tpwl. he said a friend of a friend told him about it...and that they saw it on craigslist.

OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT RULES

DECISIONS:
1. All decisions of the tournament officials are final.
ELIGIBILITY:
1. All State & Federal penal code laws apply at all times.
2. All Federal and Texas Parks & Wildlife Department laws and regulations shall apply at all times.
3. Contestants must have proof of a valid hunting license on their person during tournament hours.
4. Each team member must be a paid contestant of the Lone Star Wild Hog Tournament and abide by all rules and regulations.
5. Any contestant found to be in violation of any tournament rules and regulations will be subject to disqualification from this tournament and all future tournaments.
6. Tournament officials have the right to refuse any entry.
7. Hogs may be harvested by any legal means or methods and only on property that you lease, own, have the landowners permission to hunt on or the appropriate permit for (such as a Wildlife Management Area). No hogs may be harvested from a helicopter.
REGISTRATION AND ENTRY FEE:
1. Registration form with complete entry fee ($20/person or $35/ two-person team) must be received before or at the time of their first hog checked in.
2. NO REFUNDS OR SUBSTITUTIONS OF ENTRY FEES FOR ANY REASON.
3. All check in stations will close at the times listed in the Tournament Times & Check In section.
4. The Lone Star Wild Hog Tournament is not responsible or associated with any “side pots” that are held at the individual check in station.
TOURNAMENT TIMES & CHECK IN:
1. Tournament begins on Feb. 26, 2011 at 7:00 a.m & ends March 6, 2011 at 5:00 pm.
2. Check stations will be open from 8:00-10:00 a.m. only every day of the tournament. On the last day March 6th, the check stations will be open from 3:00-5:00. Tails of the hogs will be removed at check in station by tournament officials.
3. Only freshly harvested hogs will be allowed to be checked in. Hogs may not be frozen. It is up to the discretion of the tournament officials to decide if a hog is not eligible for entry into the contest.
4. All hogs must be disposed of by the hunter.

CHECK STATIONS LOCATIONS:
1. North - Caddo National Grasslands Work Station
(10 miles north of Honey Grove on CR 409, 903-378-2103)

2. Central - Angelina National Forest Ranger Station
(111 Walnut Ridge Road, Zavalla, 936-897-1068)

3. Central - Sabine National Forest Ranger Station
(5050 Highway 21 East, 5 miles east of Milam, 409-625-1940)

4. South - Davy Crockett National Forest Ranger Station
(On Highway 7 about one-quarter mile west of FM 227 near Ratcliff, 936-655-2299)

5. South - Sam Houston National Forest Ranger Station
(394 FM 1375 West, New Waverly, 936-344-6205
PRIZE MONEY:
1. Places will be determined by the individuals and/or teams that check in the highest NUMBER of wild hogs per REGION (North, Central or South) during the tournament. Any ties will be split between the appropriate places.
1st Place = $1000/team
2nd Place = $750/team
3rd Place = $500/team
The Lone Star Wild Hog Tournament is not responsible or associated with any “side pots” that are held at the individual check in station.
Additional prizes will be given away at each check station throughout the tournament.
POLYGRAPH:
1. Each contestant, by signing the entry form and/or participation in the tournament, agrees to submit to polygraph examination.
2. Polygraph test will be given on a random basis and must be passed.

My question is if they are shot the day it opens and then not checked in till the last day that is going to be rank or are u sposed to take it to a check in station the day u kill it so someone would have to be there all the time
