I was sick as a dog and gonna take the weekend off until Chris called yesterday inviting me out to Flatonia this morning. I finally got my fever to break, so me and my youngest boy headed west early this morning. We met with Chris and Mandi, along with their friend Toby and his wife... all of them were hunting off horses while we rode the buggy with Larry and the bulldogs. Got into the hogs pretty quick and ended up with 6 for the day. Including one good boar with broken cutters in a creek, and a barren sow that had her Nike's on to finish it off with after running her several miles. It was a real good day, my son got to see a lot of action, Toby's wife was on her first hunt and got to stick some hogs, two of their horses wandered off Shocked and I brought one of my Tweety/Buck pups out on her first hunt.

Here's a few pics, I know Chris and Mandi got some more...

Britt, Tink is coming along well... I'm real pleased with her. She's caught enough the past few months for me to feel confident going in behind her solo.

Glad to hear it Mike, its always good to know that your CD is proven and dependable, I dont know about you, but I was not blessed with tree climbing skills or the ability to run fast, so a good bulldog is a must lol, take it easy
