Does anyone know what the laws are in Alabama as far as hog hunting with dogs goes? I know that I cant hunt on the WMA with dogs but what about National forests and private land? Thanks Guys yep I'm new!

Helena, AL just south of Birmingham bout ten minutes 45-50 minutes from talladega.

hey im from thomasville, i have never hunted any public land all the places we hunt are private owned places, but on private land you can hunt when ever you want any time of day or night, but in turkey season you can only hunt at night and have to be out of the woods i think at 3:00 am, but its not a good idea to hunt day during deer season, and if you get caught hauling a live hog on a public road in alabama its 400$ per hog i got caught with 16 the other night Shocked but i got out of it somehow

Sure glad I found this forum all kinds of useful information I been looking for ppl to hunt with and I got neighbors who hog hunt wish I woulda found this six months ago
