Catchin hogs on the reg

Made a run Saturday morning, it was my brother (Cull Buck), Clint (Tomballdogos), Aaron Bmc, Courtney, Tait, Karen, Lisa,Mark and myself.  We started the morning with Clint's dog Bella striking 5 min into the hunt.  We ended up catching 7 at the end of the morning.  We cut 3 good boars to hopefully catch again next year.  It was another great day in the woods with some good friends.

Tons of it.  I am very allergic to it, but have found that if I can wash up with dawn soap immediately after the hunt it generally gets all the oils off.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

I don't think we'll see weather that nice again until fall.  Embarrassed

You know, we get into a lot of heated discussions over the rough vs loose dogs debate but I have to admit I really enjoy both.  My personnal preference is to hunt with loose dogs with enough bottom to finsh a hog.  I want/expect all of them to pull hair if the hogs tries to run but when its standing still I want them to back up and settle in.  If I'm feeding them that's what I prefer.  Having said that AaronBMC runs a rough pack of dogs.  They bark as they move forward to bite and hold.  Not my style but I really enjoy the change of pace.  Getting watch a pack of rough dogs do their thing after putting up the loose dogs really keeps things interesting.  Not that anyone really cares but it hit me like a ton of bricks this weekend.....I don't care what kind of dogs we are hunting,,,,I just like hunting hogs with dogs.

Ill have to remember that.  I bought some soap at the store that helps remove the poison ivy oil but I could buy twice as much dawn for the same price.

Have yall seen any gators in the sloughs around there yet?

Good pictures, I cant wait to see the 2011 video compulation. Think we can get a mid year recap?

Haven't seen any gators yet, but you know they are there.

Unfortunately we have only gotten a little bit of video footage, and now it is getting too thick.   The 2011 video may be a quick one!
