HI, My name is Oran Payne, I am a newbie to the hog dog stuff, but not new to hounds, I use to raise trial dogs. I am looking for feedback from all you dog men, I have been in contact with OUTLAW FEED, and I am considering being a distributor, I am located in CLEBURNE TX. I own 2 TIGERMART stores in Cleburne. I am wondering how many of you would find it convenient to buy this feed in the Cleburne Area, For anyone not familiar with where Cleburne is, its about 30 miles south of Ft. Worth, 60 miles north of Waco, 50 miles east of Stephenville, and 37 miles west of Waxahachie. Let me know if this would be something that you dog men in this area would find usefull, Thanks Oran

Hey Redtick, are you the guy from cleburne that went and bought a ton from him. Travis said that someone from cleburne went to Temple and bought a ton.Not sure what he sold it to you for, But I am sure it wouldnt be to far from what he sold it to you for. Which feed do you use?

There are 4 different kinds, all good feed, especially for the sporting dogs, It would definitely be cheaper than any comparable feed that you are getting from the feed store or TSC here in cleburne, I will get back to you on the feed break down and pricing tomorrow, thanks for your interest. Just thinking with fuel so high right now...surely there are enough dog owners in the Cleburne area to make it worth while, if your driving to Temple to get it your spending money and time. I feel I could save guys in this area, some of both. Grin

  Oran,
I'd give it a try as I am always looking for better feed for a lower cost.
Let me know where I can check this feed out and get a price on it. I live in the Cleburn area.
                                                  Thanks,

What percent protein do you guys figure you would most likely use? the 21% or the 26%  also what do yall think about the feed that has no corn? Its a little higher, just looking for ideas, I have to buy 3 pallets to become a dealer, looking for info on what would sell the best.

Oran, Exactly how far from me are you? Right now I am driving to Corsicana to get the 26/18 but if you are closer I could tell you that I would buy from you. I buy at least 6 bags of feed every two weeks, sometimes more depending on the amount of puppys I have on the yard, which hopefully wont be very many lol. Your pups are doing great by the way, I wormed them again today and I know I really need to get you some pictures, been sick so I will get them soon.

What is available and what kind of pricing are we looking at?
Is there a website that shows what feeds they produce?

Eva you are exactly 123 miles, from me, If I get set up with the feed, and we time some hunts, or bay pen stuff, I could bring it when I come.

I Am getting the info on the 4 types of feed,
    I know there is a 21% protein 15% fat
                           26% protein 18% fat

and 2 other types that dont have the corn , will get the info on them tomorrow, they are a little higher than the feeds mentioned above. There is not alot of room for making money on this feed, I am looking to help out some fellow dog guys, in hopes of meeting some of you and making some friendships. I have to buy 3 pallets Pretty expensive...so the feed needs to be moving...cant afford for it to sit in my store. It cost 1.00 a bag for it to be delivered to me, so thats 120.00 on top of the cost of the feed.
     But I

But I know what I am paying for pretty good feed, and I feel like I can sell this very competitively to what I have been paying. will try and get this ball rolling this week.
