Guys, i have a question, how small of a pig should i show some pups if its there first time seeing one. Does it have to be a lil shoat thats smaller than them that i can grab and get to squeal a bit or can i show them a bigger pig (50-60lbs) thats in a cage and just let them bark outside the pen with an older dog?  The pups are 13 wks old.

Try a smaller shoat that you can make squeal and then work your way up as their interest increases, pretty pups what breed are they

Bring and older bay dog that is not gritty. I build a 16x16 pen out of panels and put the hog inside it. Hold the bay dog and let the puppies go that direction then release the bay dog. You may need a tall pen or a roof to stop jumpers. But if they get too close the pig will run to the other side. So they learn how to keep a hog on one side. But keep it short and often. It should be a fun game. You will also see if they have interest.

It kind of depends on the puppy... show them a real little one first to build up their confidence.
