my neighbor has a great dane and had never seen a hog before. he stuck him in the pin with a big boar and eared the thing with no problem just not very fast moving in tight places

well i dont know anything about great danes ,    BUT  after watching hogs gone wild  Wink    ....    i'd say if you

1 have a good spotlight

2 keep him from getting overheated

3 keep him away from barbwire

4 cut his tongue off so he dont trip over it

5 spend ENOUGH TIME TRAINING HIM TO DO WHAT OTHER DOGS ARE BORN KNOWING TO DO

    then you mighjt have yourself one truly amazing boarhound !

Whats funny is I thought the same, I am new to the sport but that TV dog doesnt make those people look good.

   Got a question?Huh?  how do yall cross them dane pits?  male pit to female dane or does it matter? I was just wondering, if a male dane would be too much for a female pit.
   That black dane pit cross, is a really good lookin dog.
