Today my Blade dog ( in the blue cut collar , both pics )   Bred my Petra gyp ( middle right in bottom pic )   I did this on purpose after loosing my Girl gyp last month. I wanted a couple of Blade pups just in case something happened to him. He has really been cranking the last few months. He has worked a hog up to 20 minutes before jumping it, hunts out with my buddy's old dogs or ahead of them. Or he will hunt by himself and find his own hog. He likes the left ear and that is where he has been on every hog, big or small and he has taken some pretty good gaffs doing it. Not sure that is a good thing or not, but he has never quit. Petra is an up and comer. travels well, hunts good for a young dog and if nothing else, she is off at the first bark and on the hog when we get there. She has been gaffed a couple of times too with no quit. I'll post an ad when the pups get here. I'm keeping a couple and a couple more are spoke for. I'll just be asking a little cash or some feed to cover shots and getting them up to weaning age. |

Nice looking dogs man...Should be some nice pups and sounds like they going to have some grit....

Blade came from JLH on here and Petra cam from a young fellow outside of Poteet from a line of dogs he hunts pretty hard. Some Weatherfords Ben in her, but I think about an 1/8 or less.

Petra has 24 days to go by the calendar and she is as big as a barrel already. I guess she'll have 20 and I'll be done for the year.
