HEY FOLKS, THANKS FOR HAVING ME ON THE SITE. JUST SIGNED UP AND IT LOOKS NICE.

I'M ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR SOMEONE IN OR NEAR HUNTSVILLE . . ANYONE AT ALL. TRYING TO FIND ANY INFO ON SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT YELLOW DOGS (BMC) OR HAD YELLOW DOGS IN THAT AREA IN THE MID-LATE 1970'S. IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO OR KNOWS SOMEONE FAMILIAR WITH YELLOW STOCK OR HOG DOGS FROM THAT AREA . . PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

THANKS A LOT AND HAPPY HUNTING . .

Brian, welcome to the boards. All the old timers near me had mostly brindle or black and tan cur dogs.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR COULD'VE BEEN EITHER OF THOSE I SUPPOSE. NOT NECESSARILY A YELLOW DOG . . BUT THAT TYPE ANYWAY. THOUGH IT WAS PROBABLY A STOCK/RANCH DOG RATHER THAN A HUNTING DOG.

I KNOW THIS IS PROBABLY AN IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION TO EVER GET ANSWERED . . BUT TRYING TO LOCATE ANY INFO ON A DOG NAMED "BIG BOY" IN OR AROUND HUNTSVILLE IN THE 70'S. WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD ENOUGH DOG TO HAVE BEEN KNOWN REGIONALLY AMONGST PEOPLE INTERESTED IN GOOD DOGS. IF ANYBODY HAS EVER HEARD OF THE DOG OR KNOWS SOMEONE I MIGHT TRY TO CONTACT FOR MORE INFO . . I SURE WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

AND THANKS FOR THE WELCOME. SPENT ABOUT 5 MONTHS IN EAST TEXAS HOG HUNTING LAST YEAR AND PLANNING TO COME BACK FOR GOOD MAYBE . . THIS SPRING SOMETIME.

Gerald Hightower knows just about everything related to hog hunting in Walker county. He has raised yellow dogs for years and years. He would prob know of any REAL good dog that has been around Hunsville. He's not on the web. You may need to look him up. He knows hog dogs for sure!!

Boar Buster, how do you know Steven Widner? And are you talking about Luck Smith? I caught a hog with him yesterday. Are you from Huntsville?
