What kind of blood is in the dogs (breed) ? Why the strange names ? Are they imported? Thinking of crossing one of my lacys to a Bavarian mountain hound. But now I have a couple of plotts that will be ready to go about October so I may start one of them. Poor ole Cowboy is to close to finished to be much fun any more. But I'm shooting all trad equip. Now so I'm sure between me an costumers he will stay busy. Keep me posted I love to talk blood dogs.

They are lacys out of my two dogs. Both names are indian and yanaba means brave or first woman into battle. Kalisca means coyote chaseing deer or the story of how coyote created man. Just depends on where you look. I dont like traditional names.

That cool what blood lines are they. Mine are Arron Lowe and some Tom Graham, little jimmy Brooks. I guess the docked tail threw me off.

I hate tails so I clipped them. Don't know as much on the male he is out of s tex line of little lomger ranged bigger houndier lacys. Everything he shows I believe it the female goes back to graham. If these turn out they will be the start of my line of dogs. So far so good I am as pleased with them as can be.

Shep,
I didnt give the Lacyxplott crosses enough time to see what they would do (im not very patient, they need to show me something early) and the plotts alone had no handle this could have been me or the bloodline. The Plotts seemed to pick up the first hot track that was over the blood trail and they were gone chasing whatever crossed! Now, we did aquire a plott that did ok on blood and he is now over in the Houston area, this dog seemed to have more handle than the ones I tried prior. Let me know how your plotts do on blood!
PBC, nice looking pups!
