Its been cold and I have been real busy this month, so I have not been hunting for a few weeks.
Heard my dogs raising cane at 5:00 this morning and it kept up untill feeding time. When I went out to feed I got a little suprise. My dog "Mable" was standing over her litter of 8 pups that are 6 weeks old and they were chewing on the head of a fresh killed boar that would have weighed about 150lbs. So I guess "Mable" and the 6 month old pup "Socks" that helps her look after the pups, with the help of "Boomer" went out looking for some fun and brought home some fresh meat for her pups. Now if she would just cary a camera and start taking some more training age dogs with her I would be happy.HAHA

Sounds like the dogs don't need much of an excuse to go hunt. Next time Colton gets off we need to come bring our dogs up and go hunt with you. Sounds like you have plenty to hunt up there around the cap. ![Grin](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

You bet Paul just give Colton a call or you can call me at 817-559-7318. I hate to be the one to tell but I'm pretty sure that Colt gave those pups to a couple of really good buddys of ours. I think Charlie will be a hog dog and Quirt looks like he'll be mainly cattle. I just don't think Colt has the time to really work with pups right now. I would like to come look at your dogs one weekend and see that Dogo gyp you bought. Just call me when you're headed this way and we'll try to set somethin up. Got a place for you to stay too if you need to. Ross

Ross.....I bet I have given Colton about $2,000 dollars worth of really good pups or started dogs and he never keeps them for more than a month.HAHAHAHA I don't care because he always gives them to someone good that will use them. The Dogo gyp is really doing good and is the fastest dog I have ever been around straight catch on the ear and takes a little while to break off, I will send her to any bay she can hear no matter the distance, she has got a real good nose as well and has been winding hogs as well, she may be the perfect type of dog for our part of the world, I bet she could hunt infront of a horse all day, great long range catch dog, or the type that you could carry on the feed truck and send to anything you run across while working. She is about 100lbs tall and lean.
I will be seeing ya'll soon, or come by if ya'll get up my way.

Paul Colt said that by his total its more like 1950.62. But you know how that Matador math is. Sounds great and lookin forward to meetin you next week. If we don't hunt I'm sure we can stir up somethin to do in this little ol town.
