Well Lucas, Jason, me and the kids made a little run this morning before it got too hot.  Took Track, Leo, Sam, Butch, Bomber, Dallas, Debo and pups Lily, Smoke and Fire.  Started off with my little pup Lily baying up a really nice windmill  Cheesy and Bomber taking his good 'ol trusty dump in the dog box.  Got everything lined out and the dogs struck a group pretty quick and singled out a fat sow.  Got her caught and hobbled.  Dogs rolled out and bayed up a little boar in the creek bed.  We had two in the bag pretty quick and headed to one more good patch of woods before it got too hot.  Look on the Garmin and see Sam treed 756 yards - right where the sow is tied up.  Dogs hear him and haul butt to him.  Meanwhile I'm fuming mad thinking he's baying the hobbled sow.  I get to where she's at and yell "caught hog".  Then do I realize that he's actually baying another hog.  Medium spotted boar hog breaks and I cut the Stag to him.  Dallas is gaining on him good until he hits the briars and that's the end of that hog - he smoked us.

Moral to that story - always trust your dog.

Kiddos had a good time and good work for the dogs.

Good fat sow.  Didn't weigh her, but I think she was pushing 300.

Unfortunately - sow didn't make it.

Hayden, Lily and sow.

Kate and Sam.  Hayden and Tracker.

Lucas's CatXPlott - Leo.  Heck of a dog.

Bay dogs caught on little boar.
