well my dad,my buddy brad and I decided to make a hunt last night,We got to the ranch around 12 am and we dropped the tail gate ,we were getting bulldogs vested up and getting everything ready when the dogs opened up,bout 350 yds from the truck,we headed to them and when we were about 40 yds from the bay, we cut the bulldogs loose and they went in there and had this big ole hog caught,we got in there and finished him off.we guessed him at 300lbs. we kept hunting and it didnt take long until my pistol dog stroke the second boar,it broke about 50 yds and they shut him down again,cut the bulldogs loose and they went in there and sealed the deal,it has some nice cutters on him,but thankfully all the dogs came out fine,couple scratches and pokes but nothing serious.Had a great time out there and the dogs worked real hard ,and the blldogs got the job done even thou it was my black bulldogs first hog in the woods and the blue pit had only been on 3 hogs in the woods. my buddy has some nice pics of that one,ill see if he can send them to me,so I can post them. he was an old boar his teeth were real worn down ,and a few of them were loose. |

good pic hector,glad to see the old lady still doing you a good job. all them dogs got a mouth full of pork on that big oh boy. good job that pistol pup is awsome. i wish you still had that other yellow dog that would have made a team.
