So none of the hogs break on you?? Ive been know for some pretty jam up gritty dogs but i can say they the more populated we get and the more pigs are running on other peoples dogs the harder it's getting. I don't know the guy is this post or his dogs but to be pups there not doing to bad. We would all love to see some pictures or videos of your dogs going to work. I see you have a good looking avatar pic but haven't psoted any hunts. Just try not to knock down someone on here. There posting for positive feedback, not what you would cull. If hogs are breaking on you and you don't ever loose a pigs then my hats off to you brother!

Ya if we hear are dogs bay its 300over an rank here's are pack 2to3 jagds 1 curr/cal/pit ,1 bird dog,1 mcurr we lead 1 pit an 1 pit running all dogs are usually are vested even are jagds. Most of the pigs are missing ears when we get there!so we catch hog we don't like losing hogs! What's your pack like?

We sell everything so we don't really want them missing ears cuz then they have to sit in a pen and get fed. We don't have many hogs break but they usually get stopped. Me and txhogsanddogs run together a majority of the time. We run different strike dogs and curs cuz we have too many to run all together, but we always have a Dogo and a Dogo/ab or a pit and a real big rough bmc that catches with cd. Dogos either run on the ground or get cut at first bark, pit is lead in.
What i believe Brian was saying was it is hard to believe that you never have a single hog break and run on you? Especially on the gritty pack you run. Not all hogs will turn and fight no matter how much pressure you put on them. I have seen hogs run off with pits hangin on them, hell this summer me and Brian had a big hog walk off not trying to fight at all with four grown dogs all caught (both ears and two legs). So it's really hard to believe that you ain't never had a pig get away.
Point is, you shouldn't be gettin on here just to tell some guy his pups are culls. Everyone hunts a little different, some like lose, some like tight, some like gritty, some don't. A strike dog that is almost strait catch is a cull to me because they are usually too cut up to hunt all the time. How do you know Silver Bullet is not bay and shoot style? Could you go in and shoot over your pack? Just don't come in here and tell People how their dog is a cull.

I got a lovely place called the Plain Dealing river bottoms that I would challenge you to hunt and not have a hog run.

I got some city hogs that I would chalange you to even strike, let alone keep them from running or even stop them if they do run. 80 thousand acres of corp land with about three ways in where you park and walk the rest of the way. You better leave the jags and hope those pits have a nose and some range and pray that whatever else you bring doesnt bark, also bring your walkin/running shoes cuz you will need those too.
It just aint right to get on here and give somebody $hit about their dogs, saying they are culls. Everyone culls for different things, you cull and hunt your way and let everyone else cull and hunt their way. If someone gets on here asking an opinion if something is a cull, then you can pipe in. I dont hunt the same way as everyone else with my cd but I dont think that everyone elses cd are culls nor would I get on here and tell them that if I thought they were just because I wouldnt be able to use them.
I have not seen a pic of your jag, but I thought you said you only hear a bay if the hog is 300 lbs or better?

To get this thread back on track.......I think they look good, especially the one dog, he handles the hog well. I'll bet you catch some swine with them if they will get out and hunt.
