Took ole "Blue dick", "Skipper" and two of the new hairdales out tonight to a new spot. The dogs did a great job. This boar tried to break once but they shut him down right. We were pretty proud of the crew tonite. got to see the new catch dog "Big'un" on a hog. He's no freak like Bella but he'll do. pretty good sized boar with not too big cutters. The dogs actually bayed for a change till the catch dogs got there. Matthew legged him like a pro. Thanks Matt for taking us to the new spot! hope to catch some more there. here are some pics. not the best, took em with my phone. I gotta get me a camera.

this is Big'un in the foreground. He was caught on its bottom jaw!! At least it was on the head.

Bella the freak

It was a great hunt on new ground, fair to midlin young dogs that did a heck of a job, on holdin a rough hog in some of the roughest ground I've seen around home and didn't let him get to far when he decided he needed to go, he made it about 50 yards and they made him anchor and waited for the catchin freaks to get there and bayed their tails off until they got there, and when the catch dog's got there it was total dog silence all barking stopped all the young dogs had their mouths to full of pork to bark, I totally enjoyed the hunt and the company. Thanks Matt for gettin us some new ground, to work these young dogs on we do appreciate it. But over all I was very proud of all the dogs and their ability's for their age I wouldn't of asked them to do more than what they did.
