One of my ranchers called and ask if I would take his son out and stab a hog so I loaded dogs up and headed that way. I put the dogs up on rig and started hitting the water holes. The third water we hit cutter bailed off and headed north he made a big circle and finally lined it out he started baying at 250yds back to the south. I grab hulk and head that way i get about 20 yards i see it's a good boar an cut hulk and he ran in and missed boar broke but ol chigger was hanging off his nuts skiing across the sand hulk caught back up and sealed the deal. We loaded the dogs up and headed to the highway to pick up a buddy of mine who has been wanting to stab a hog. I drove about 2 miles when cutter bailed off and was headed straight for a windmill about 5 mins later cutter was treed at 950yds and chigger was going to him I drove around to them and they had a 50 lb shoat caught kalab stuck the hog and I tried to get the dogs back on the rest of the hogs but dogs were already to hot. We took about a thirty min break and started rolling again we drove around for about an hour and was about ready to call it quits when kalab said go over here to this water hole I saw some hogs there the other day and sure enough we got about 200yds from the water and cutter and chigger bail and are leaving out fast at 400 hundred yds they split chigger went left and cutter went right cutter made a big circle and came back to the truck chigger keep going hard and I heard him start baying at 800 strAight behind us right off the road I back up to him and cut hulk I hear hulk hit and silence I run up and they had a 150 lb boar caught with some good cutters. I had a blast getting to watch to newbies stab there first hogs and made the rancher happy. First boar about 175lbs (ranchers son) Second boar about 150lbs and some decent teeth gonzos first hog with dogs Me with second boar

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...
