Meghan will be 16 November 3rd.
1987 with 77,000 original miles, new paint, great shape. Picked it up locally this week.
I've had 2 others and these rigs are sure fun, will go almost anywhere, and top speed of 60 mph, so it's great for her and cheap for me. Wink
I was buying it to turn an immediate profit but she says she will drive it after the lift kit and big mudders.
40 miles daily to school and back so if I don't go overboard, the fuel mileage will be great too.

I want one of those bad. That would be a great vehicle for hog huntin or just hittin some back roads. My buddy had one and that sucker could go through more mud than a 4 wheeler.

I have a buddy in Ga that buys everyone he can, they went from being dirt cheap to downright expensive. CoolesT one he has is 4 door with a vw tdi diesel engine.. Gets really good mileage and runs good too. There are several messge boards devoted to those ,, one is zoowari, or zuwari or something like that ,,

nogalus - this one is too nice to hunt out of.......for now. Grin

Amokabs - Saw 1 4 door diesel in my life, about $15 K, sweet but not worth 1/2 that to me, I'm broke but would've loved to have it. I use rocky-road.com for parts.

matt - it is, that's why I was so excited, I could have sold it for $500 profit over phone within 5 minutes of stopping to look at it.

Ug - it'd take her 2 days driving non stop to get to your house. You could leave at the same time and meet her 1/2 way there on your donkey.

It's in overall nice shape, inside and out for a 24 year old rig. Funny thing is it's worth more now that when it came off the showroom floor.
Needs interior work, door panels, glovebox door, window crank handles, just little stuff.
Waiting on 5 piece interior diamond plate aluminum panels (2 door, 1 tailgate and 2 rear) and glovebox door to arrive next week.

Update: here it is as of 3 days ago.......

I've been looking for a decent set of aluminum wheels, preferrably 16's, as more tire selection is available.
Found a set of 16 X 7's, had a set of Maxxis Mudders mounted, 245/75 R 16.
Here it is today with a 2 inch shackle lift and the new treads.
Took a few hours, beers and handy work with a Sawzall, torch and snips to get them under it without rubbing at all.
It'll look better next week when I get the 3 in. body lift installed.

A buddy of mine has one that's rigged out for huntin, has a dog box built into the back of it. That thing is unbelieveable in the woods and mud. It will go anywhere a ranger will go... Getting harder and harder to find parts for them though..

Chain, there's several ZUK forums that have vendor lists, have yet to need a part I couldn't find. also have a few parts rigs scattered out if I have to scavenge.  Grin
