I hunt and I fish but I also believe in managing our wildlife and I think this guy over reacted...it is kinda like someone shot my dog because he was running cattle when I know my hog dog was cow broke...hard to prove though...

thats a screwed up deal. endangered species getting shot or your dogs getting tore up. Huh? i guess the guy needs some bigger dogs huh. a warning shot probably would have worked too. the game warden will prolly fine his butt pretty good for that one.

Sfboarbuster would have tossed his hat, garbbed that bear, slammed him so hard it would have knocked the wind out of his momma, and had him tied up and waiting for the game warden to pick up.

Daggum two foot high one hundred pound bear may have claws and teeth but some boot leather or sole leather would change that bears mind real fast. But I may have just shot it and said I was in fear for my safety and my dogs safety. Wait I thought that is what you say when you shoot a gator If it eats people or dogs I don't want it around.

I have a picture somewhere in an email of a dumba$$ who shot a bear on my buddy's deer lease. He got a HUGE fine for killing the bear, said he didn't know it was illegal, it was about the same size from the photos. My buddy is the lease manager, he kicked the shotter off the lease and the guy lost his hunting license for a period of time. In the photo the guy is smiling from ear to ear, I guess that was before he got his ticket...

Found the pictures
