I am just finishing my kennels and wondering what you would suggest for the floor. I put down hog panel and was going to put 2 inches of lime rock on top.

I took some old red house bricks and layed down in the floor of a set of mine. They work pretty good and some times you can find them for free. Wink

if you dig out about 1.5 feet and have it  to where it drains away put fill line in the way of the flow of water then fill about a foot with river rock(that way it does not compress like concret) then cover the rest with pee gravel that way when then dogs piss it travel through the rock then when clean it out you can spray it with water and bleach to kill everything then the bleach and water will travel rock kill everything. You wont to make your drain about a foot wide and a the same depth for twienty feet long that way it disdributes it out that fill line a little at a time killing the smell problem  it evey clean and good for your dogs coat. thats what im trying to do myself seen it a this one kennel he had big fans and water misters for the heat it was really nice
