Last night me and Trenton took some dogs out again.   We weren't out there 20 minutes when L.T. and Molly both struck seperate hogs.  They ended up running them in the same area.  As we got close Molly was bayed closer so we cut the bulldogs loose.  About that time the hog broke and headed our way.  He hit a pond with the dogs right on his tail.  We were hoping he would stop on the other side but he kept running. Then he made a hard left and turned right back around to cross the same pond right toward us. We were waiting on the bank when I guess Trentons dog Molly had enough and bit him on the rear just enough to set him down until the catch dogs got there...... we got him caught and hobbled and this whole time LT was still baying a couple of hundred yards away.  By the time we got the hog tied I guess the hog broke and LT was headed back.
We hunted a little more then headed for the trucks.  On our drive out we saw a group by the edge of the woodline.  We cut the dogs loose and the chase was on again.  We heard a few different hogs squealing but by the time we got to where most of the dogs were they had this smaller hog stretched out on the bank of the same pond we were just on.
All together it was a great hunt ( besides getting turned around in some nasty briars) and got to watch some good dogs working.

Kinda hard to see the hog because he sunk in the mud along with us.

Thanks we actually were pretty lucky on this hunt and ended up at water with every hog we got on.  Made it a whole lot easier on the dogs.

Molly is just now coming out of heat, but she is still acting like a real female.... she wouldnt listen, wouldnt hardly go out , and didnt act like herself.... had a attitude the whole time....    Grin
