depends on what size your wanting to catch. we had a camera out at a place and all we got were shoats on it so we built one out ofcombo panel from tractor supply, and auminum fence posts from home depot. it was 4x4 and when we cut the panels we just bent the ends around the fence posts, cut out a section for a push through door and attached it with heavy duty zip ties.
We were doing ok till a hundred or so pounder got in there and wrecked it.

we run three types of traps ![](http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee381/shaddonb/2011-05-12203446.jpg) this one was a first one and we put a 3 by 4 door on it after catching the deer also we use two 6 by 20 panals and make a figure 6 then we have a trap door that we put out and put panels up in a circle

I build mine 4x8 with half of one end as a spring loaded door. Door swings side ways not up and down. Weld em out of angle iron and hog/cattle panels. Little more costly but they hold up good. Never trapped a hog bigger than 125lbs in this style trap though. But im after smaller ones when I trap.
