TColt, Caleb Sanderson and myself left out last night, round 8:30 or so. Dropped TColts lacy and floyd and Calebs sledge and let them work a while, we loaded up in the truck, which is a dandy by the way laugh and kept drivin around. with no luck on the first few spots we headed to the place we caught the boar last week, lacy, floyd, sledge, and ranger rolled out to about 550 and was making bout 50 yrd circles i kicked out my lil ann plott, and calebs lucy, and she headed there way. we started walkin to them and got within 400 yrd and could hear a faint bark here and there. with 6 dogs baying you should be able to hear them pretty good Huh? Huh? not so much tho. All you could hear was a ton of grunting. I wouldn't call it a sounder, more like a herd of pigs bayed in he middle of a pasture. TColt heads there way to check out the situation so he can give more insight on what it was like to see the whole thing.  Probably around 40 bigger pigs and no tellin how many shoats, Taylor pushed them towards the trees and they finally busted up the dogs singled out a smaller group and bayed them on the edge of a tree line. Sent in Maddox, my cd and he caught then the others joined in. It was a good sow she went 195 at the buyers today. would have like to kept going but rounded the dogs up and got everything loaded and then went to the house. All in all was a great experiance hearing somethin like that and seeing the dogs work good. I dunno how to post pics but Taylor does and can get a few posted when he gets a chance. Thanks for reading..

It was neat watching the dogs work the sounder. All the dogs just sat there circling, then when one would try to break, they would gang up on her till she made her way back into the group, then they would just keep circling.

Great hunt Y'all. Sounds like great dog work as well, nothing like baying up a sounder and holding them all together.
