Tonight i decided to get out one more tim before sprink break cause i wont be hunting for like a  week. We headed out to this place that my buddy use to hunt alot. About an hour after dark we dumped them. Road hunted the for a good mile and they took off real good. We waited about ten minutes when my strike dog opened up completly opposite where she took off. We drove to get closer and the hog kept breaking it broke a good half a mile threw alot of brsh before we got semi close. We walked the catch dogs up and let them go. Right after we let them go it got quiet we stood there just waiting. About five minutes later this hog ran right back to where we had just came from the catch dogs and my strike dog had been following him a good long run and a couple barks they were there. This hog i would have to say is one of the smartest hogs i have ended up catching after all the breaking. I was just so happy she stayed wih him. It was a good 45 minutes of this hog running and running before we killed him. This hog had alot of cuts on his ear where he had been caught before but they were healed. The hunters had been hunting this place a couple months ago kept telling the owner they were getting on this big boar and could never get him stopped. I think he was just a little under 250 but he was long legged and mean.
